What he went off for the last 5 minutes, watch the princess calls come out here. Best player in the world in my opinion. Dally M is getting closer by the week.
Hayne is right up there. Many of us old blokes probably would place Brett Kenny's 6 tries in our first three Grand Final wins as reasonable data to be a contender as best ever. I only wish our younger generation had the pleasure to see him play. Hayne certainly not out of this discussion though.
I watched Kenny play and yes he was a naturally gifted player that I have above Sterlo in my ranking but Hayne number one, he does things Ive never seen and he is by far the best nrl player I have ever seen play the game.
I am privlidged to have seen all of Kenny's career as well as Hayne's
Both Parra immortals and both make the all time greatest Parra side
If anybody doubts Brett Kenny - just watch the Kenny v Sterlo show in the Wigan Hull Wembley final in front of 100,000 people.
How great, is great ? - Nobody can tell me that Hayne is better than Kenny or that Kenny is better than Hayne - both have the MOST natural football ability I have EVER seen from ANY players
We really are splitting hairs here
However, the one stain on Hayne's career was that he went "missing" in the 2009 GF - GF's, like Wembley was when we saw the BEST of Kenny
But Hayne has "stood up" in many SOO's andwas player of the tournamnet in the World Cup - so, given another opportunity to shine on GF day - I have no doubt Hayne will be equally as impressive as Kenny was in GF's

If he don't play today like last week, we lose.

He looked switched on today. Talking to the boys and leading the team. Another performance for the highlight reel.
