The Fox

Surely we take up option to resign the Fox. In my opinion he has been a positive signing.. He looks happy - playing a good brand of footy - and bring a lot of energy. Thoughts?

  • 100% but price has to be OK

    • Club option, so I think it's whatever he's on now

      • As long as the price is reasonable for both parties.

After all we did steal him. the reality is who would you replace him with at a cheaper price that could get anywhere near his ability.

Remind me to never take you guys shopping, you buy bargains then complain because the quality is shit. Make sure you take Fong with you, he won't let you buy shit!

Fox is a generational winger, they don't grow on trees!

  • I'd be happy to take up the contact and extend him for an additional year. He is still only 29 and playing good footy. Even if he played a bit of cup in his last year it wouldn't be the end of the world as he won't be on big coin.

He's great for team morale and coaching of the younger players. By 2027 players like R. Penisini, Mohamed Alameddine,  Dom Farrugia should be close to nrl ready. Plus any other external recruits or pathways players. A few other young players I rate who might not make it but I think can be good squad players with the potential to play nrl are Araz Nanva and Bradley Avery.

  • No hesitation. Fox is amazing

  • Good to see a new thread after the bye round

  • Seems likely but no rush. The option is the club's. He's playing really well, I hope we extend him.

    • Hasn't the club got only 6 weeks left to activate the option? Otherwise he's on the open market. Given O'Neill and the club seem to move at a snails pace when it comes to these things, I'd say there is some urgency if it is to get done.

  • You pay class & he full of it.

  • If I was the Fox I'd be positioning myself for the expansion Bears side.Theyll have plenty to spend and will probably give him coin and years.
