Last year i stated that for Tep to go to the next level he needed to find some attitude, some real purpose, with that would come leadership on the park, a player others wanted to follow, a leader on the park.

The latter half of this year i really think Teps found a new level, a new maturity, he's leading the way out there, playing tough footy with an aggressive attitude.

In past years im not sure Teps has really known what to do with his ability, hes struggled to inject himself and play a dominating role on the park, sometimes he'd float around the park without the hunger required to make his mark.

Hes changed that this year, hes gone from being a bit of a passenger no offence to him to being a leader out there, a bloke who can lift his team mates through high energy aggressive footy.

Hes understanding his role a lot better and hes gaining a lot of confidence in himself, i can see it.

His defence has been Beau Scott like, hes getting a bit of a ruthless streak about him, hes firing up and playing with plenty of desire and purpose ive not seen him play with before.

If Tep can build on this new found attitude and desire, i believe he can turn from a good footballer to a very good one, the type of bloke other players feel confident running out next too.

Tep is a very effective player when hes aggressive, he needs to continue to work hard on it, no doubt its also infectious in the team.

So a big congrats to Tep, keep up the great work, stay aggressive and keep the attitude up, youve really come of age back half of this year.

  • When he's running hard he's very hard to contain. And his defence has really stepped up. He's really maturing as a player that's for sure.
  • Yep he's been great the second half of the season. I reckon the addition of Moses has really helped with his attacking game. He was causing all sorts of problems on Saturday, shame he had to go off when he did.

  • I think he has just really found his feet in the Nrl, I was one of his bigger critics, but I like the way he plays now.
  • Still very young I think 21 or 22 max, and Arthur has brought him through nicely.
    Huge fan
  • I've noticed that too.... but not in a defensive sense an offensive sense. Maybe it's Moses I don't know but the last two months teps has been hitting the line with power. Good on him!!
  • He was having a blinder on Saturday until he had to go off with a head injury. We really missed his presence out. Can match it with any forward in the comp now
  • His hias are becoming a problem
  • I like when he plays on the edge and targets the weaker defenders. But I worry about his constant head knocks.
  • He'd back running those damaging lines near the line he did when he first come into grade.
  • Biggest issue at the moment is keeping him on the field. For a young bloke he has had a lot of head knocks from small impacts that would be a huge concern for the club and his future.
