I can't believe some of the crap that some people are writing on these blogs today. You would think that it is the end of the world. I have always thought that the eels supporters are a staunch bunch but after some of the crap been written today, I am starting to think otherwise.....
- Yes we got beat by the Warriors.
- Yes we are out of the top 8.
- Yes we aren't playing all that good.
- Yes some of our players are out of form.
- Yes we have some problems in the halves and hooker.
But you know what, after todays game I believe that if DA fielded the below side and stuck with it for a few games instead of chopping and changing then we might start winning some games and more importantly we might start building some combinations again which will carry us through to the semi's. Have patience and cut the boys some slack please. These are my thoughts only but Robson needs to be dropped to Wentworthville full stop. He adds nothing to the side at all and last year was a good dream for him. Morts needs to be introduced to Brett Kenny also, until he gets his confidence again. When Morts is back to his dynamic best then he could come back to 5/8, where Mateo can move back to 8 and Manuokafoa back to the bench and Oake to Wentworthville. Wright has to have his paperwork stamped NEVER to play 1st grade ever again (well not at the eels anyway). Inu can join the Warriors now for all I care. Humble is the best 7 we have at the moment so we have to put him there now and persist with him. The rest of the players will sort themselves out when they start winning. It is amazing what a victory can do for your confidence.

I know you look at the table and say mathematically we can make it, but a team needs to have the will to win, the current eels squad lacks that...
Until attitude is fixed, we will continue to slip down the table to join Melbourne
If we can scrape into the eight then anything can happen after that (see 2009) but holy crap if they keep playing like this every year the club will run out of supporters due to ill health!
