THE BADGE CONNECTS US ALL

The James Hardie Centre of Excellence was buzzing today when 150 Parramatta Eels players from across five grades came together for a whole-of-club training session.

From Harold Matthews and SG Ball to the U16s Development, NSW Cup and NRL squads, the Blue & Gold filled four fields, rotating through skills and drills as one connected system. It was a rare and powerful sight — the entire Eels men’s pathway united on the training paddock.

More than just a session, the day was a statement of who we are as a Club. Regardless of age or experience, every player trained with the same pride, purpose and belief, wearing the badge that connects generations of Eels.

Seeing the depth of talent across all grades reinforced what makes Parramatta special: a strong, united pathway built on shared standards and shared ambition. Source : parraeels.com.au

        • Yes I understand where you're coming from, but the blog started with the words "The James Hardie Centre of Excellence". It associates with everything after. just like Hardies wanted...indeed what they paid for. Well, here it is. this is it. It comes the way that it is,...it won't stay politely in it's lane.

There are many ways to give the club the idea and when renewal time comes around, they look for a new major sponsor. They didn't listen when they were warned that it may tarnish our image so now this is what we get

  • Makes me so warm and fuzzy 😆

  • James Hardie, probably the most apt sponser for us.

The Eels and James Hardie trying to reinvent themselves after both experiencing / and or conducting corporate misconduct. Both are in the process of repairing their image , their brand and their future.

Like Chief says, it's about the club coming together from top to bottom as one and being better into the future. I like it.

Has anyone seen the other video of all the players saying / yelling 1 Club - Parra Proud. Pretty good as well, with some showing real passion for the Eel emblem as they punch / touch their chests and hearts  near the eels logo.

Ive included it below. Have a look

    • I don't mind debating the whole jh sponsorship, just saying this blog was always about the opportunity given to development players to train alongside professionals and to train inside the centre of excellence.

We can start a new blog about why the club should end the jh relationship asap and nor renew their sponsorship

      • Agree mate. 👍

        • I'm not sure that/such a debate will ever have a winner.....Views can be so polarised, I care not think about it as I could take both sides and lose both of them.

Have a Merry Xmas Chiefy to you and your family.....look forward to the upcoming season, I just hope we get it right...... bit like the JH exercise, could take both sides and still get it wrong but the "HOPE" never changes.

I know one thing, some people will never be happy and there are plenty trying their guts to make it work.

That includes you Chiefy, you are posting like the old days when you you were one of the best on here!
