Everyone seems to have an idea and the common one is pay the money! I reckon we have tried that and yes TPA's are emerging and in our constitution.
Other's like to point out facts that unquestionably have been addressed already, at least conceptionally.
Others like to think that the incumbents are just feathering their nest and really don't care.
Finally others see it simply of changing the front office, essentially with absolutely no idea how to do that or what is needed to undertake same.
We have people like Chief who comes in and wants a sales person, good idea and then he suggests Richardson, a failure at so many levels for what we want to fix. No point and going out getting marquee players if they walk away 2 years later, Luai be a prime example, Gus fcuking up the dogs with so many players, i.e he is going for his 4th Hooker next season over a 5 year period......we don't want these examples....buying players that are not invested in the club is wrong.
I want to go back to Coryn's example, why are we not chasing genuine athletes from other codes?
I notice that Roache one of Australia's top 7's player's is joining the Roosters next year, thats after losing the biggest game breaker in the current game i.e Abracadbra Man, why with our Union connections (assistant coaches and Ryles) are we not chasing these guys. My guess is they are too caught up dealing with the current flows and injuries, rather than stamping an authority in the process. (survival mentality.....same thing has brought down MON)
The answer my friends maybe "blowing the wind" but it is better than most of you lot who spend time blowing wind up your own arses.
We have a proven coach and business man called Cheika sitting in the assistant coaches box at the Roosters, he is and should be offered the Mountain that can't be seen for the Trees to be the Head of Football.....he will make it happen!
Multi Millionaire in his own right, former Australian Rugby Coach and doing a 2 year apprenticeship (I say apprenticeship loosely, he is a lot smarter than most in our game) under Trent Robinson learning about Rugby League......he would beat the system which I have tried to explain endlessly about our constitution being our self imposed downfall....... He doesn't need the money but we sure need him!
This process doesn't imply fault, just a way of combating the problem by going forward........what happens if Cheika doesn't want to come.....well the only reason he is coming to Rugby league is the challenge, there can be no greater one that ressurrecting the sleeping GIANT who is entering the COMA stage!!!
If you want to make this happen, do some research on him and start making noises through facebook and other sources you are part of untill a journalist picks it up and all of a sudden the people we need to be proactive about it .....board, ex players, die hard supporters turn it from a rumour to a talked about fact.....
PS Players will come with someone like Cheika managing the fort!!

I don't mind this suggestion pops. His a very lateral thinker. I would also be happy with Daniel Anderson.
With due respect Daniel Anderson is in another league.....I liked Daniel, in 2009 he gave it away when he said, a bit like now, I can't coach them structurally anymore, just go out there and do your thing.
Daniel just would not have the "influential effect" that Cheika would have....that status, that command, that authority is what the special ingredient is. Successful people like him have a tendency of taking no prisoners as they approach a problem.
No doubt we would love a Bellamey or a Bennett....even a Gould, but they are not invested.....its my punt that Cheika would invest.....it would be a claim for greatness if he can succeed.
Strangely enough Ryles has invested on the potential that the "sleeper" has and people could argue he has no reason to invest. I think he has the same reason as Cheika would have.
Really? Daniel Anderson has been working with the Roosters 🐓. Just finished his tenure. Do you refer more to a oversee aka Gus or more hands on coaching director? DA was involved in the recruitment and retention. I mentioned DA because our recruitment has been crap and his done wonders with the Roosters 🐓. Maybe his on his way? Furthermore Roosters 🐓 last weekend had 99 games of origin experience and more sitting on the sidelines.
Yes I have no need to question Daniel's character and he was successful at the Roosters and has obviously made and impact with St George. Especially as he is now an "incomplete quadraplegic"
It would seem none the less that it is a semantic question given he has joined St George in his first season after the 4/5 years at Roosters.
I see Cheika as a complete General Manager, Ryles would report to him, although Ryles would have the last say in who he wants and team selections.....Cheika would run the show and be the be the negotiator and talent identifier or procurer once Ryles tells him who and what he wants.
PS I see Cheika in comparison to MON as a chalk and cheese differential, MONS should never been titled Head of Football/or General Manager....that is why he is so highly critiqued. In a different world I would see Anderson or Mon working for Chieka, in either of their current capacities.
I don't think Cheika solves our injury issues or the lack of recruitment ability. No better than Ryles imo
Clintorian ....well that means I haven't sold you on what Cheika brings, i.e. quality is the differentiator and whilst the coach maybe the primary choice for picking players, we need someone like Chieka to sell the process. Plus I believe that Cheika has a very good contact base through Rugby Union.
Solving injury issues has nothing to do with the premise of the blog, Clint think before you speak.
PS There is a common agreement that MON is there now on borrowed time.....that can be a critique but to my way of thinking a subjective one and hence Cheika being a much more influential person/a than the alternatives.
Ryles said on triple m were in for a forward and a back and we going to use these juniors. But atm we getting rid of our juniors and putting them around fringe first graders. I don't see the vision they are trying to sell at parramatta, and I don't think they've got a clue what to do with Juniors, Senior players and Recruitment. We need a 6, winger, centre, 2 forwards and a impact player. Yet we're going to use the same players from 25,26 into 27. What is going on ? Mon, Ryles, Rogers, Jim the vision is starting to be harder to believe.
I'm not sure what we're doing for a 6. This is the biggest gaping hole we have in our Roster that needs immediate addressing.
Thats why i'm so lost on this vision Ryles is selling the fans, who is our dominate 6 and why haven't we been able to put or sign someone there. It's been 18 months since brown made that call and yet we have nothing or no one to play that role. Volk is good, but he's not a game changer/beaker. Joash maybe, joash just needs to run the ball as a threat but nah. Lorenzo should have been our 6 from the start so he can develop in to our spine yet were back to square 1. Very dark days for the club atm.
