As I live in Wodonga this site gives me information on what is happening with the mighty Eels,I love the banter between members.Here in Victoria rugby league is rarely mentioned on the Melbourne news occassionly the Storm may get some press if playing finals however always after the AFL.My mate at work who follows the Storm said he was giving up on them this year after one bad season what a sooky fair weather supporter he is 😆.Keep up the good work looking forward to next year hopefully the Eels will have a great season

WOW Michael, you got some sense out of Chiefy, people have been on here years before that has happened.
Welcome mate, I am well advanced in years now, but as a kid under 15's from memory I played for a Sydney based rep team against the Wodonga Rules side and had our arses kicked, but at the same time Wodonga and Albury as twin towns was a wonderful learning experience and a great place to visit.
PS We all got boarded out in that experience....do / are kids still allowed to do that? I imagine into days age that would be a bit risky.....

Acknowledge the Media suppression down there of any other sports the AFL deems to be a threat to their religious like monopoly. But sites like this can show you everything, and more, you need to know about League, and especially the Eels.
Wodonga is so close to the NSW border we're going to claim you as New South Welshman anyway Michael!
If there's one thing we know as Eels supporters - next season is always our season! We'll get there, the glory days will come again. Can't wait for next season!!
