How bad is he, I thought he was playing good in a bad team but I'm starting to think the tigers are just that bad he looked ok, The Galvin effect is in full swing you can tell the players and coach are sick of answering questions they don't look happy as a team anymore they look like a team that are left in the dark about who is playing where each week I've always thought he is going to regret this decision he will start hating his footy again they are playing worse with him coming on looking like a deer in headlights hopefully gus has finally seen him.

This would be an astute signing..
You realise that Burton would cost you 800 to 1m don't you?
PS Burton is a lot quicker than our correspondents have ascertained here.
The Bulldogs have had a soft draw.
Rounds 1-8: 5-0 versus bottom-8 sides, one win vs top-8 (Sharks) + a bye. Flogged by Broncos 40+ in R8.
Rounds 9-16: 5-1 + two byes. Three wins vs bottom-8 sides + two wins against top-8 (Raiders, Chooks). Flogged by Dolphins 40+ R12.
Rounds 17-18: beaten by both top-8 sides (Panthers, Broncos).
TOTAL: Dogs have played 15 games. Played 8 against bottom-8, winning 8-0. Played 7 against top-8, losing 3-4. In two losses against top-8 sides the Dogs have conceded 40+. The Dogs out-compete lesser sides, no issue there. Against better teams? Raiders R10 had them down 20-0 at half time but lost. Chooks R11 had them down 14-0 at half time but lost. Broncos R8 had them down 34-0 at half time and won. Dolphins R12 (44-8) piled on 30-0 after half time, and Broncos R18 were down 0-18 with 20 minutes to go and then piled on 22-0 to win. The Dogs have shown they can struggle for any impact against better teams, and that was before The Galvin Saga overtook them. If it were not for their insufferable fan base and fawning media stoked on by Gus, the story would be of a team good enough for the 8 but unlilkely to trouble a good team in form.
Dogs' run home is: Cowgirls, Dragqueens, Moanly, Tigirls, Warriors, Chooks, Storm, Panthers, Sharks. I would not be surprised if they barely break even in that run.
Not all Gavin fault, he a very good player & will prove that in time. To be criticising him because he been thrown in the deep end is not his fault. The coach makes the decisions not a player that's just joined the club. Maybe Parramatta was a better choice for him, heaps less pressure but he chose to follow his junior coach. He needed to see the year out with the Tigers, then start pre-season in different positions to see what works. His inclusion in the team, has really unsettled the Dogs but you can't blame him, fingers should be pointed at Gould & the coach.
