Tepai has put the sting back in our defence

Love having Tepai start the match. He really hits like a cement truck in defence. I think the other players have lifted their aggression in defence by following his example.

I also like that BA is not overusing him. He still is too young to be playing too many minutes.

I like him starting and then Fui coming on after him.

These days not much seperates teams, You need the mongrel and these boys have it.

Thought all of our forwards did a fantastic job actually but special mention to Fui and Tepai.

I think he really needs to be coming on at around the 20 min mark when the forwards are starting to tire a little.
He runs great lines and he hits hard. Id like to see him put on a few more kilos though

  Seen highlights of him in NYC & also has a good pass, something he hasn't done yet.
  
  Unfortunately I hope in offseason BA gets forwards passing & players supporting as too much one out running imo.

I once witnessed Sefa Paulo out hitting Tepai, by putting a gigantic hit on Anthony Watmogh, - then I awoke from my sleep.

The big question is will the NRL allow Tepai to keep playing. Now that Tim Mannah is back on board and if we have Ben Smith available, the NRL may not give us the dispensation to use him. I certainly don't think we can bank on him being available for selection in all matches over the rest of the season.

If the papers are correct and we only have 21 players in our top 25 due to the others moved on. Surely there wouldn't need to be many injuries to gain permission. I assume the dispensation is position specific.

  I've been trying to get some clarity on this but I don't know if letting players go from your Top 25 changes anything. You nominate your Top 25 at the start of the year and I don't know if players can drop in and out of that and how that affects the second tier cap. I think I'm going to make it my mission to find out exactly how the cap works before the end of the season.
