It looked like it but I doubt he'd risk possible concussion and being out for a lengthy period.
I just think the ref needs to be given discretion. If Tedesco wants to drop his body just before the line then it's play on. Pretty simple really. It's his fault it happened. Not the defending player.
Unfortunately our game is trying to pretend all head impact injuries can be avoided. That's just not the case. It's a shame because it could eventually lead to the end of the game as we learn more and more about concussions but that doesn't mean the defending player should be penalised just to save face. It's not fair.
