Another thread about the 2011 team?
Also, there's really no need to write in capitals.
After some thought, and based on the players that we currently have, I'd go with the following. This is however subject to change, should we make more signings.
1. Jarryd Hayne
2. Luke Burt
3. Timana Tahu
4. Joel Reddy
5. Eric Grothe
6. Daniel Mortimer
7. Tom Humble
8. Tim Mannah
9. Anthony Mitchell
10. Justin Poore
11. Nathan Hindmarsh
12. Ben Smith
13. Justin Horo
14. Jeff Robson
15. Shane Shackleton
16. Fui Fui Moi Moi
17. Taniela Lasalo/Lee Te Maari
Mate forget about Q.Cooper he aint leaving union before the world cup next year and i would rather see J.Horo start instead of Maitua. Horo has been and outstanding player for parra this year, he has earnt his start spot. I also would rather see Fui come off the
bench until he finds his devistating form he was once in. I also think Burt hasnt got the legs he used to have and i think its time we give our young hot shots a chance so we can have that strong backline that we once had.
i like Horo at Lock - the rest of the team i'll let Ando decide...he's the coach and he sees them train day in day out..
See his kick against Souths in the 2nd half, almost bounced in the in-goal, i think he's a good starting replacement for Mateo...Good work ethic aswell...
I'd like Webb for $150K 12 month contract see how he goes, He has that hard Origin Mongrel blood in him...I reckon he'd be a good buy....
Based on this year, Horo deserves to be starting Lock.
He played out of his skin in only his first year, and whilst he might now win it, he could be a darkhorse for Rookie of the Year.
But have you seen Humble in the 7 jersey at all? And we need to hide Morts in defence cause they run at him far too often that is why he is not effective in attack
Not here in Sydney for Wentworthville no, but I have seen footage that has been sent down to me from his days in the QLD Cup where he was playing halfback, and he tore teams to shreds with an awesome passing and kicking game, and a whole range of other things, as well as being the driving force to their Q Cup Final win in his last game for his club up there.
He has the talent to play there, and he has proven it.
I just don't know why hasn't been given the chance to show what he can do in the halfback role.
"Called it , We will be lucky to see him again this season. Like last year , he just took the rest of the year off to prepare for the Kangaroos tour. Wonder if we will be silly enough to fall for the same hustle this year , last year it was , " yeah…"
"lol, they're backpedimg showing the team hes gotta earn his spot. Definitely unrest going on there . Gus would be praying for a key injury that forces him into the lineup. "
"🐂 💩
Late Mail: Lachlan Galvin has been dropped with Jaeman Salmon returning at lock and Kurtis Morrin joining the bench. The Bulldogs explained the call: “Galvin not playing is a tactical decision - needed another forward on the bench as cover with…"
