Taylan May Suspended But Not Really

The NRL has cheapened its self further with a disgraceful decision to suspend May for two games, in 2023!!!

This means he is free to play in the finals this year!

The NRL has lost its marbles. The reasoning given is they now believe that a finals game is worth more than a regular season game. Kent said on 360 that he questioned them "why didn't you suspend him for 1 finals game instead, they said it's a valid point, can't answer that".

What the NRL is now doing is adding another grading system, which will add more grey area to who and how a player is suspended when committing a criminal offence.

I don't think we are going to get a fair crack from the referee this Friday, they are already making exceptions for the Panthers.

  • This is so far beyond belief it's scary. Just shows that VLandys and Abdo think they are more important than the game. So if a finals game is worth more than regular season, Lindsay Collins really got 10+ weeks for hip drop.

  • Disgraceful decision!!!

  • Now I understand why the Bunker and MRC are chimps.

The chimps at the top hire their own.

    • You disappoint me Rup, I expected a chimp gif with that post...

  • Losing a lot of respect for VLandys.  Further how does a nuff South African get the highest adminstrative role in the NRL.   He is not up to it honestly.   Again as I have said on this forum many times go back to Union Abdo.  Ridiculous.

  • When Kent is making sense you know it's crazy!

NRL risks turning into rock'n roll wrestling with decisions like this.
