Parramatta Eels Sign Tallyn Da Silva The Parramatta Eels are excited to announce Tallyn Da Silva will join the club effective immediately until the end of the 2029 season. Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said, “Tallyn is a very talented hooker with great skills and a strong running game which complements our squad nicely. His attributes match the style of football our Head Coach Jason Ryles is wanting to play, and we look forward to welcoming Tallyn and his family to our Club.” A former Westfield Sports High student, 20-year-old Da Silva grew up in Campbelltown and played in the West Tigers pathways teams before making his NRL debut in 2023. Da Silva will commence training with the Eels this week. |

TDS is also short for Trump Derangement Syndrome. Every time I see it I think that ;-)
I am ok with the signing but one thing that bothers me is he's said "Well I didn't want to leave the Wests Tigers". At the end of the day you want players who want to play for Parramatta and not because they were forced to leave from somewhere else. That's just how I see it anyway.
All players say that to not put off the fans of the team they are leaving. Pretty sure Mitch said the same in 2017.
I can understand that, though for me i can see it as it's true he didn't he was loyal but opportunity is better elsewhere leading him to wanting to be at Parramatta, considering three other clubs wanted him too.
