TANIELA TUIAKI? WHY?

Its officially been raised and leaked that Parramatta Eels are chasing down Tuaki, and are going to sign him. But my question is Why?

I mean we must be getting him for dirt cheap because the guy hasnt even had a run in 1 year, he physically can not run, why would we buy a winger who hasnt had a run in 1 year. The last he actually tried to run, just run, literally, he further injured himself. If we want a winger, i would seriously go for somebody else, who is young. There are so many young wingers going around its outstanding, maybe somebody like Dane Neilson or O'Neil from Melbourne, they look good, or even Blake Ferguson from the Sharkies(sorry SBBB). This is the wrong signing, Parramatta have troubles with making signings, all of our talents come from within the club: Jarryd Hayne, Krisnan Inu, Feleti Mateo and the list goes on!

This secret halfback signing better be good because the team can't stand for another bad signing.

  • there is no secret halfback signing either
  • To date this is the ONLY signing.

Apart from the rumoured secret squirrel deal

We have got a lot of holes to fill so any sort of road base has become acceptable.
  • yes there is mate, their are plenty of strong sources within the club who have said so.
    • dont give me this 'strong source' crap again
far out - these people who know people at the top of the top of the club who know something is garbage

none of it has been proven correct after weeks of this rubbish
  • haha, well it will be 2 years since he cant run again. He still cant run! 1 years 2 years wateva, he hasnt had a run since mid 2009! why would we sign him?
  • OK, when we sign this halfback, talk to me then.
    • Maybe Piggy, now 99% fat free, will be our new half next year.
    • i'm starting to believe it is all rubbish. Why have we decided right now to drop Mortimer and try Mitchell? Because there is no great saviour coming to the club (even if you believe the Sherwin stuff) and we are desperate.
  • End of 09 actually mate, and he hasn't had a run cause it was a pretty bad break.. But if he gets back to any where near his best than he will be a good signing!!!
    • Exactly right rock... A friend of mine who is the assistant coach for the tigers Toyota cup side, says the tigers have lost faith in him getting back to full fitness, and that's the reason they won't renew his contract!! He is not happy and wants to prove em wrong!! Hopefully he does wearing the blue and gold jersey!!!!!!!!!!!

"There are a couple things to consider.
First, his asking price. Could we get him for a price we'd be happy with and allow us to build a squad and retain players we need to.
Second is whether he fits the culture Ryles is trying to build. Ryles is…"
