Tallyn Da Silva going to market

I'm sure the Bulldogs will some how find room for him under their cap ( presumably with Mahoney's money) but this is exactly the kind of player we should be signing.

He brings a lot of energy when he comes on for the Tigers and has a good running game.

Let's not low ball him and make him a decent offer for a minimum of 3 years

  • Dogs are about to get Latu from the dragons before the June 30 deadline too apparently.

    • Amazing that a team leading the comp is still buying players before June 30 and yet, at the Eels, we've released almost half a squad and still cant sign a player, even if that player wanted to pay us to play.

      What a mess we are.

      • I feel like we are being punked by The NRL here . How in the fuck can these guys just keep buying more players ?  It's as if the NRL has simply told Canterbury that it's their turn to dominate the competition and they have a pass to do whatever it takes.

It's so frustrating reading that we are chasing bottom of the barrel Neville's and these guys just keep signing young up and coming quality talent. I'm actualy sick of being a cuckold supporter .

        • To be fair, they haven't won a finals match since 2015. If the NRL was fair, it would be the Dogs' turn to be strong. What's not fair is that the Tigers, Titans and Dragons never get a chance to challenge for premierships any more.

          • Either do we really. Remove 2022 and we've been a fanny hair above those guys other than the Tigers.

Granted we got to dream for 5 minutes in 2022 which is better than a kick in the nuts.

            • I thought 22 was no fluke the club took some pain getting to a GF 19-21 we couldn't get past the 2nd week of finals before breaking through.Parra and the rest of the leagues issue we ran into the Riff sweet spot who basically crushed everything in there way.

Alot won't talk about that 2 times we were beaten by the best in the business. If anything we were always in with a shoot as we were the only team over the given period that troubled Riff consistently,no one else could.

        • Well that's quite simple actually it's how a proper football operation works when it's working to a plan. You can best bet they have targeted Finau for a long time and have just executed a plan to land him.Just like they did with Galvin.

This is the problem Parra have they are fighting against a club with a superior footballing department a superior person running the show love him or hate him but they are just better off the field than on it and hence why they are seeing the results now.Make no mistake the Dogs arrow is pointing well and truely in the right direction if we are doing the same in the next year or 3 then great but right now we'll continue to look like the red headed step child vs our cross town rivals.

  • Latu Fainu looking good tonight for the tigers. So quick question, where does he fit into the Bulldogs lineup next year? They already have two 6's.
