Think his name has been brought up a few times but definitely a player we should be looking at if rumours are true. Currently playing off bench as an impact middle but can also play centre if needed. Would also push Russell to keep his spot I think he'd fit in well at Parra. Thoughts ?

Can play centre, backrow or middle. Versatile but no real idea if club is looking at him or any backs
We need a centre that compliments our style of play, tough defender, quick thinking and good in the air. The amount of times I've seen that Russell coil have passed and doesn't is very frustrating
Speed athleticism in this nrl I think that's even more so you have a look at these sides at the top of the ladder are loaded with athletes.Canberra and the Roosters for me are the poster child's for it.If either of those sides had Moses or alike as currently built I'd write them as premiership favourites every other year.
We dont need him agree, more importantly I doubt this type of player would suit Jason's game plan or style - we aren't getting dominated but good field position is an issue imo - we cant be working that hard every week for a victory
He is the sort of player if harnessed could be a match winner.
I would go purely on Ryles and what he thinks he can do for this player that benefits us.
Arbitrary decisions like this basically means that fans think that his potential is/or is not worthwhile but that is not a judgement we can make.
I do know one thing that many people on here make judgements on a first impression and as such would not know a good signing or a bad signing till they actually see him play. I will guarantee their judgements will always/mostly be superficial.
I can only think back how many rejected JAC for every reason under the sun, because it did not suit their definition of the right player for Parramatta.
Agree Poppa. He covers middle, edge and centre, but like you said, it depends on what JR thinks. You only had to watch him today, you give him good ball close to the line and he's near unstoppable.
Is he better than anything we have in our current ranks or coming through? No. So all he would be doing is filling up a place that could be taken up by our promising youngsters. He emerged on the scene, Fittler picked him for SOO, and he plateaued then and has not gotten any better. It would take up unnecessary salary cap space. Anyway, why aren't the Sharks keen to keep him? That tells a story in itself.
If we head into next season as is, Russell and penisni are centres and I'm not sure who the back up is. Club is going to need to find some outside back help. Simmonsen will be moved on and haze is finished. Down to Samrani Richie and tago
Sharks weren't keen on Jack Williams either. And that turned out very nicely for us.
True that
