  • bit like Vai Toutai against the bunnies last year.

BA mentioned that in the press conference the fact they bombed 2 tries early in the 2nd half. If they get one of them could've been a different ball game.

  • Ye and that would have made it 46-8. Would have helped out for and against I suppose.

    • hahahaha

if he scores and robbo makes the conversion 10 all and confidence with the eels. Cowboys probably would've still won, i guess we'll never know.

    • I think if we had of secured those two tries, for a lead, the Cowboys would have overrun us at about the 70th minute mark. So probably 22-14 and we would have been discussing our inability to finish opponents off. But we didn't get that momentum and confidence and dropped out bundle at the 50th minute and conceded 36 points. What it all really demonstrates is just how fragile the team is, and how much work BA has to do to both get the team's minds right and also improve that dimension of his coaching (getting the teams' minds right).
  • No I think we all know what would have happened if we had of scored that try. The whole rugby league community knew what was going to happen in that second half and we oblige every time.

    • Agreed. We need to petition the NRL for a reduction in game time to 50 mins.

      • I prefer the idea of keeping the game time at 80 mins - but giving us a 30 minute head-start!

  • Was thinking as soon as he bombed that and semi missed the next catch a couple of minutes later, thats it game over...and it was.a team like Parra absolutely need to take every chance because we simply cannot grind out a win,we just leak too many points.
    • Not even taking every chance is enough for this side. We took every chance against the cowboys when we played them earlier this year and we all saw what happened there.

  • yeah I thought we were actually in the game until Taka dropped that. You could see our heads go down immediately after.

We had to score off every single opportunity created to be any chance. This new fad of people jumping over the sideline and placing the ball back inside the corner is giving me the shits. As you say all he had to do was dive in.
