Tago 1 game suspension for textbook hip drop.

Can really see the difference in rulings for teams that nrl want to be at the top and teams they want in the cellar. As Shane Richardson said a definite bias to teams higher up the ladder. See it alot in the other games as well with majority of the 50/50 calls going the way of the team in the top 8. Now imagine if one of our players hit Cleary with a similar tackle they'd be looking at 4-5 weeks for sure

  • Ridicilous favouritism. A 1 week suspension for a textbook hip drop tackle that will probably end Kautoga's season as Syndesmosis is a 6-8 week injury.

Your seriously telling me Dylan Brown suspension is the equivalent to that tackle? Fucking appaling. They do not even try to hide their bias and corruption.

Still cannot believe R Smith got suspended as well.

    • They've got certain teams they want in the 8 for sure, results will be fixed to get to that point

      • Imagine the story. The 4 times champion started the year in last place. Cleary lost an origin series and publicly said he was not good enough.
Then boom they win a comp 5 times in a row. Great story to tell.

        • Just a lot of money involved in that to, having them in the finals series. They need to keep winning to make the 8 so the nrl is right behind them lol

        • Exactly, Eli and EA. Couldn't have asked for a better storyline. Champions knocked out cold, dead-last, rising from the ashes. It's almost a biblical resurrection, while the divided Roman spectators in the Colosseum go wild.

Can the Riff do it, again? It's a delightful head-on collison of those who desire tall poppies knocked off their perch, and those who want to see the champs keep rewriting history.

  • 1game , I've seen blokes get 4 for less

  • Should have a been instant sin bin and penalty nothing on field then 3 weeks at least and people think it's not favoritism for the top teams

  • That'll do me. Nothing in the game, not even on report, then a slap on the wrist.

    • This is where I condone milking by players. Stay down and hold that ankle 😂

      • Corrrect . Sometimes you need to force these corrupt officials hands .  The flunker had ample time to get into the referees ear , a blind chimp on the spectrum knew this was going to be a suspension incident .

"Randy,  An interesting one.
I suppose coaches trust certain players or believe they're the best fit for the team, even if club form or a high minute count aren't there.
I'd choose you for x-factor even if you only had 5 minutes of form."

"Hoe, I dislike the idea that a player can be selected for Aust with only 480 club minutes on show...and not all of them good. How can he have form without playing?
Perhaps a rule that said 10 nrl games to be eligible for Aust would help everyone"

Like Ricky Stuart, Ryles seems happy to show the door to a player not buying in.
