I know league fans can be superstitious people when it comes to their team and I'm no different. One of my passwords to log into a game was Eels2017. I wish I had changed it 12 months earlier. After the season we just had I changed it to Eels2019 before pre season training started in the hope it will fix everything. Sorry guy's but I think it was my password that destroyed the 2018 season. Just wondering who else has done similar due to a superstition and what it is you did.

Definitely the jersey . The jersey killed our season .
Well Jim at the end of last season I cancelled my sports channels on Foxtel with the intention of enabling sports once the eels were back in action. Well after 6 weeks of the eels not turning up and the season basically over I never enabled the sports channels and I have a little feeling it was all my fault
I wondered why 2018 went pear shaped. Now I know. I blame Coach Jim and Xman. It's all their fault.
I did say sorry and I can now share the blame with Xman. What a great day, I just got a new friend.

Even in past years when it has been brought back as a one off it is unlucky. I remember I think it was 2010/2011 we brought it back for a one off game v Canterbury. We lost the match and Hindmarsh was sin binned, how many times was he sent from the field?. I can't recall any other time except this.
We then brought back the shirt this year and played like Parramatta of the 50s.
Pretty sure its bad luck to be superstitious
