So I decided to treat my two eldest boys, aged 8 & 6 a day out at SupaNova because they get in free. Now I wasn’t completely naive, I knew something’s would cost money like autographs & photos with celebs, but I was shocked at how much everything cost. I was about $500 short of a good day, we ended up leaving after 2 hours.

The whole thing is s glorified farmers market for sci fi Knick knacks.

Massive rip off.

    Nerds have a lot of money as they don't spend money going out very often Hemce the ridiculous mark ups.
    My mate bought a comic book store 25years ago and has set himself up for life as he was able to buy limited edition things before the public. Recently sold some action figures from some obscure cartoon show to someone in Japan for over $75,000

      Lol, no I was having a passive aggressive argument with my 6 yr old why I wouldn’t pay $10 to shoot a gun !!!!
