Stop Giving Up On Our Team

I'm getting sick of the people acting negatively on this site. Stop giving up on our team. The more you give up on us, the more likely we are to lose. This site is a Parramatta Eels SUPPORTERS Website. If you're not going to support Parramatta to the end, you shouldn't be here. You are entitled to your opinion as you may be frustrated but you shouldn't bag out your own team if you consider yourself to be a genuine supporter. If you want to be seen as low as one of those infamous Bulldogs fans then go somewhere else.

We still can either win 3 out of the last 4 with good points differential which will take some very good wins to make the 8 or win the last 4 in a row. If you're a genuine Parramatta SUPPORTER, then don't stop believing in us and continue your support. Bet against us if you don't feel confident and either we win or you make some money. Either way it's not too bad. It's time you stand up for your team and respect them and believe in them. If you don't, our season will then really be over.

  • Good blog David.

I'm in this with ya mate, EELS TO THE END.
  • I really really want to be in the eight !!! We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...We can do it...
  • The points differential is the obvious problem now. Not only are we not winning but we are losing by a considerable amount. Sure its important to be positive, but there was nothing positive in the last 40 mins of that game.
  • I love your sentiment but actually none of us on this site make a tackle, kick a ball or have any real meaningful affect on what happens, that's why we are called "spectators".

Its not our attitude mate that matters, shit with this much passions if it was up to us we'd be world beaters, unfortunately its up to those boys out there, sadly this year looks like we'll fall short, hard fact t swallow.
  • I am a ticketed member and I will support my team but I will also call out a few players and decisions from coach's..... Think they have 15 other blogs like this one... Thanks for starting a new one just what we needed after another arse kicking...
Expect a few people to unleash as there are plenty of true upset supporters out there right now!!
  • Very good blog David!
    I agree as well.

I won't give up until the end :)
  • I'm not prepared to let Nathan Cayless leave the NRL without a premiership. Let me remind you that this is a man who has captained New Zealand to a World Cup victory, captained a single club more than any other man and will break the record next week for the most captained games. For someone who holds these records, it's simply outrageous that he doesn't have a premiership ring and especially after last year's loss and finding out we lost to salary cap rorters, it made things worse.

I am not prepared to let 2010 slip away. This premiership means a lot more to me than any other premiership in the years to come. My favourite bunch of players for a number of years are all in the team and some of my favourites are leaving. I don't want to see this team fall apart without a premiership or at least having a good shot at it. I will never give up. Is anybody else with me?
  • Dude I have supported this club for 32 years from the end of earth, and if you think we are chance to come anywhere above 9th place this year you should be in the NSW labour party camp as the eternaly optimist for next years state election.
They play dumb football, I try to find excuses for them every week this week they had no ball no titans scored some really rubbish tries the refs werent favourable etc etc but gues's what we lost the second half 32 points to nil. find and excuse in that.
I love parramatta always will but sometimes you have to let go - they dont care about the jumper like we do so stop giving them excuses, 'Pride has no excuses
  • I've got your back David.
    I agree with you.
It's a slim chance, but hell, it's still a chance and I'll take it!
  • Mate, check any site you want, people are venting and deservably so, 82 points in 2 games is not a sign of a top 8 side, I want to see them in the semis as much as anyone but we are playing without direction, we need a top line half, Prince killed us tonight.
