I am a big advocate for Brian Smith to have some sort of role within the club, even around the GM role. I wouldn't give him the GM role but maybe an advisor role or something like that. Get a new GM and have Smith with him.
If Ryles had the players he wanted we would have been firing on all cylinders. But since we can't sign anyone to improve the other players around them, stick around for more false flags like this.
To be fair, we've had one game with a new halves pairing, plus a few other new players thrown in. It's frustrating at the moment, but we are actually in a much better position in terms of depth than we have been for years. We won't see instant success because we don't have the Roosters sombrero, nor do we want to be a club like that. If we can properly nurture young talent coming through, that will put us in a strong position for the years ahead.
"Watching the other games of the round parra seem to be the only club that don't have a heap of quality young backs. I don't think there is a backline in the comp that you wouldnt prefer to parras backline."
"Your too good for me Badge....."long winded commentary about how right you are and everyone else who thinks differently to you is a non contributor getting anyone?" when did I ever call you a non contributer?
Thinking differently to you is quiet…"
"And a number of those 6 agains awarded to the Eels were late in the game with no chance of impacting final result. Even questionable. But it makes the final count look a little more even. Happens all the time. Not just for Eels. "
"The NRL's obsession with high scoring games being more entertaining is a complete myth. Many of these such games are not good spectacles at all. Many of the most entertaining games in recent seasons are not the high scoring affairs at all. "

Well he won the same amount of games in one year than Kearney did in two. Let's get Ryles to at least mid year before comparing to Kearney please.
3 X Storm Assistants in a row. Please stop this.
Bring back Brian Smith and/or Jason Taylor.

Good point.
Oh dear I fear not they aren't in the same ball park this comparison.
