Stand up for Australia protest this Sunday.

I suspect this will be removed for the usual woke and pathetic crap we are all now experiencing everywhere. How many Aussies ( we are all Aussies) if you were born here or chose to immigrate here, will have the balls to rise up against this Government this Sunday? Fight for our living standards, fight for our values. Fight against the sellout this current government offers for their own interests. Record level of homeless Australians and disaster victims and these grubs open the doors to mass immigration. . They created the housing crisis. They have sold Australians out. I am not against immigration, but I am when the numbers are creating the problem. Oh, how about that skilled immigrants level. I didn't realise social welfare and uber driving fell under the skilled workers program! Then look at the blind renewables debate, NDIS, social welfare and a long list of other rubbish. Now we have more taxes on the way, your inheritance, your spare rooms, your superannuation. Wake up and rise up this Sunday. Send this traitorous, communist Government a message. They have divided this Country on every front. It is time for the majority to rise up and stand up!

      • That simply isn't true.

  • The starvation issues are a disgrace and totally get ppl up in arms about it and protesting about it.
what I don't get is why the ppl aren't protesting worldwide for Hamas to stand down. How are they helping their ppl? Release hostages and stand down seems like a solution to me, but I don't know much.

    • Its pure politics Macy, ego, power and money etc and innocent people get caught in the BS - hamma's should be destroyed, on the other side of coin the current Israeli president or prime minister is acting like dictator and his getting some push back within his own country its a shit show.

these conflicts in the middle east have existed for decades and around world nothing new - although i support free speech importing these issues to our country is not on imo - peaceful protest is one thing but violence and shitty behaviour should be stopped in its tracks.

      • Yes Mick extremely complex decades many decades old. It's what it looks like and happens when you teach your children to hate. Hopefully Aussies don't fall into that cesspit and most true Aussies aren't prone to

violence and shitty behaviour should not be tolerated absolutely. Trouble is this is what blew the whole thing up and to end it all Hamas needs to budge too. Reckon they'd be many Palestinians who'd like to see that happen and return to their chosen govt rule instead of pure terrorists steering them down this absolutely horrid path.

Our govt can't do anything more in this disgusting mess.

hamas isn't being at all fair to the ppl they are supposed to be defending and Ben Netanyahu has the world against his due to his actions ...what a fucking mess!

thanks for trying to explain Mick I generally do the ostrich on this complex stuff

        • Hamas are there for Iran, not the Palestinian people. Much the same with Hezbollah. They are not there for the Lebanese. Just a front for Iran.

    • Hamas is fully responsible for this whole current problem. It's also clearly obvious that the majority of Palestinians support Hamas. They don't want peace but the total destruction of all Jewish people and next on the list is the west. Anyone who can't see this needs to open their eyes properly. When the European immigration happened post WW2 they didn't march in the streets waving their native flags etc.. they assimilated and contributed. Wake up Australia 🦘

  • Is Sky News reporting this?

Norway’s Ministry of Finance projects that tax revenue from oil and gas will be a staggering A$127 billion or around $23,500 per Norwegian citizen in 2023 alone.

In stark contrast, Australia’s oil and gas industry received billions of dollars worth of taxpayer-funded subsidies and the huge surge in revenue to the industry has not resulted in a similar jump in tax revenue.

  • Seriously?

No offence EE but you are well off the mark on what you are saying.

Blaming the current government is either a cop out or a LNP supporter still not happy they got wiped out.

Facts are, 99% of Australians housing and financial problems are on John Howard's head.

    • Well if you look at the last election results, and where the opposition stood they need an epic "babies overboard" case to stir the shit up.
not saying that all the ppl planning to march are as disgusting as that lie ...but opp needs something to stir discontent. Awhile back, we always knew when Howard's govt elections were looming by watching tele ads months before around similar situ remember the " be alert but not alarmed" slogan. haha

  • The housing crisis is only crisis if you don't have a house.

What has caused houses to explode in price has multiple causes.

First we moved from 1 income families to 2 income families and childcare is now normal. More $ in the family budget meant more $ to spend on a house. Price goes up.

Second - Government handouts for first home buyers. More $ in the family budget more $ to spend on a house. Price goes up

Third - Housing Investment " A second house " became a real thing to families that were just ahead a bit. More people in the market more price of a house goes up.

Fourth - Immigration is great for the economy, more people means more demand for goods and services, the economy grows. It also means more people competing for housing, price goes up.

Fifth - The removal of using our natural resources for cheap energy, means energy to produce things and household bills have sky rocketed. People need to make more money through wages. Increased wages and materials means tradies charge more. House being built cost more price goes up

6th - Govt taxes on just about everything has increased massively from car regos, insurance levies, housing levies, DA levies, fuel, vehicles, tools, imports, licences, tradies have to charge more to cover small business costs, red tape, office work and documentation has increased massively with govt interbvention and new laws. to cover this tradie shave to charge more, house prices go up.

There are heaps more issues but the point is. Government can help solve the housing crisis by making all those things listed cheaper.

Provide and release the land that govt already over sees. Saturate the land market on the fringe or towards country locations. Eliminate or reduce small business burdens and red tape. Eliminate or minimise the heavily taxed system on everything. Bring back cheap energy. prices by using our natural resources.

By flooding the market with cheap housing on the fringes towards country locations will immediatley set in motion a way to fix the housing problem and reduce house prices, but then again if you own a house you don't want house prices to fall. interesting conundrum.

I don't care which party is governing, they just need to do a great job at solving the problems.
