sporting achievements in 2010? We are due for something, lets put a horrid sporting year behind us

hey fello blue and golders,

as my summary for the 2010 sporting season i believe it couldnt of gona much worse, but thats sport.

i also believe that these years are what makes the good yrs all that more enjoyable. here is just a liast of some of the sporting events we have suffered and again i dnt meen to be negative but have found this curious.

1. Parramatta eels fail to make the top 8 after starting the year as premiership favourites.

daniel andeson is gone with the likes of feleti mateo,kris keating and krisan Inu.

2. NSW Blues loose the state of origin to the maroons.

3. Australian kangaroos loose the the series to Nz kiwis.

4. wallabies loose the tri nations and the bledisloe cup

5. Socceroos fail to make the final 16 at the FIFA world cup.

6. Australian cricket team loose the Ashes to a very good england team. (no thanks to the barny army.) they also loose the previous series against sr ilanka and india.

7. Australian rugby sevens team loose olympic final to, once again, newzealand.

8. Nsw waratahs fail to reach super 14 final.

these are the big time events i involve myself into during last year that have been a bit dissapionting but like i said, itll make this year alot more memorable when we start winning some of these events again. We have great oppurtunities to start of on a high note starting with the one-dayers and twenty20 series against england followed up by a cricket and rugby world cup. And may i not forget parramatta. under a knew coach and new players, many of you say we don't have a team to applie pressure but i still believe we have the team to atleast push into the top 8 and maybe make the semis. so lets put a horrid season of sport behind and use it as emotional motivation for when we are winning. GO PARRA 2011!

9.our only decent tennis player in Sam stosur losing her maiden grand slam final (French open) despite being heavy favourite and also playing someone who is hopeless!!!!!!!!
