Spoke to CAAMA Radio - Not broadcasting game - Eels did not return emails or calls

Spoke to the guy in charge of the broadcasting over at CAAMA and he said that this year he tried multiple times to get in contact with the Eels in regards to broadcasting the game but he received no response from them.

He was highly disappointed about it, and couldn't understand why they didn't contact him.

He said they are still interested in 2018, if the Eels are willing to come to the table.

I think we should make a push next year to get it broadcast. Those CAAMA radio commentators are hilarious, give a local feel to the game and really make it a fun listen.

  I think they need approval from broadcast rights holders (I know Fox own the rights to the Trial matches for TV). If this was the case, I still don't understand why they didn't respond. He did make it sound like that they always went through the Eels.
  
  I'm a bit over putting shit on the club, but this poor bloke from CAAMA had all the time in the world for me. A simple response from the club would have been the right thing to do.

  They don't need approval from The NRL to reply with an answer . There's been an obvious common theme with our customer relations / marketing mob for ages . Too busy trying to sell everyone stuff and cash in on fans loyalty . It works both ways you money hungry grubs .
