Well from what i saw tonight i dont see alot of differences from last year in some areas
goal line defense fragile.
Attack inside the opponents 20 no real idea what to do
Full back sweep play for the winger is still the only go too play. Up and in defense from last year is there
Brown is the real deal nice touches defended well
Junior adds so much to the team welcome home
Alvaro and Oregon have added bulk.
Marata junior brown and moses were the best. Ethan parry looks a good player will fill out a bit and could be a player to watch for
I Don't take alot out of a trial game but considering the opponents and time in possession we had we should of done alot better.
I really hope we can fix our goal kicking issues i wouldn't want moses kicking to win the game.

Agree with your comments above. Mahoney defence is fine on the park until he defends on our tryline. Both tries were from poor defence from Mahoney.
One of those tries should not have been awarded. The attacker was clearly held up. Very poor call by the ref. If that had happened in an NRL game there would be hell to pay.
Brown will be broken by round 8
Yep
Way too small right now especially with Moses also playing
2 tiny halves can't be hidden in defense.

Don't forget, our first graders will only play around 40 minutes. So even if we establish a lead in the first 40, the prodominantly reserve grade Raiders squad could still come back and steam roll our reserve graders and snatch victory in the second stanza.
If that happens, watch how people on here will be quick to say "We couldn't even beat a reserve grade team" and make out like our first graders played for the entire 80 mins and just ignore the fact it was their first hit out of the season.
