Socceroos Win !

Well done to Arnie and the boys magnificent 1 nil win against #10 ranked Denmark. They are through to the last 16 to either play, Poland, Argentina or Saudi Arabia

The only other time we made the second stage was in the Harry Kewell, Tim Cahill, Mark Schwartzer days in 2006.

Congrats.

  • Great stuff

i didn't get up , would have loved to be younger and gone to a pub in newy 👊

  • Hi Chief, hope you are doing ok.....

Yes was a superb and gutsy win, albeit Danes had the running in first half but we were so tough and showed true spirit. Great goal to win; and tbh mate we can beat Poland  if we get to play them - not sure about the Argies but credit to all and the coach has been amazing. You look back at the 2006 team and they were v good but these guys have shown true effort and dedication. Superb work and to be its up there with some of the best football I've seen by a team.

    • When you have a team that play for one another, play for the emblem, who play from their hearts and not worry about their bank balance anything can happen.

      • Absolutely well said.  Sign Arnie and fark off Arthur and especially money bags captain Gutter$on.

        • We may learn how to kick off better then Chiefy

      • Well said

      • Mr 'BringBackFitzy' Analyst mate you could use that analogy to many teams.....

  • Well done to Australia. I was hoping they would win but Denmark is no easy team. Need a bloke like Arnie involved with the Eels to sort out all the BS money grubbers
