I'm with you Chiefy, I have NFI who Teddy Swims is... can't see him being more entertaining then Snoop regardless of musical taste. But then again, for some reason all my mates are getting into country so it might and well... who knows?
If you have any family members in the younger demographic, you could ask and would know Teddy Swims is probably the hottest act or one of the hottest acts among the younger demographic. I mean sure the 40+ demographic probably want some metal band to come along, but im pretty sure from a business POV, NRL is looking at the future generation of NRL supporters.
Afl just had their largest national ratings record of all time. That's what its about. You outlay a few mil for headline entertainment, then you quadruple it in your next TV negotiation deal.

Being in my fifties, I'm a big fan of Snoop but Teddy Swims is fantastic and has a far better voice than Snoop does.
I know his music bem and I actually like it. Im just saying the NRL need to keep pace with the afl who've really had some top global artists for a few years running.
I like his tatts also bem. That's a big bonus. His voice is up there i know his songs, but didn't know him from his songs.if you get what i mean.. I know he's a rising star. The arl can't go back to the bad days with guy Sebastian or Jessica mauboy as the headline act
