  Nothing confirmed as such, but Webb is close to coming to us on a 1 year 150k deal.

  In a nutshell, the rumour was that QC had signed a deal worth from memory 850k including quite a few third-party deals, as he seems to remain rather displeased at the ARU.

  I take it that he will probably feature in the NSW Cup to begin with, and then our coaches will take it from there and decide if he is warranted of a first grade spot.
  
  Also, I think the Carl Webb signing is most likely for depth, and Carl will be the 4th prop in our team behind Fui, Poore and Mannah.

  You wouldn't have read it anywhere, because there is no newspaper or sports site in the country, that was aware of this one.
  This one came directly from a friend of mine who knows DA.
  
  I treat them all with a grain of salt however, and until I myself read in the news or on a site, then I remain a bit skeptical also.
  
  However, I thought I would put the rumour out there as it can generate discussion for starters, and so on and so forth.
