He is signed til 2026 and was desperate for Melbourne to take up the option to keep him. He has said he will stay in Melbourne as long as they want him.
Money talks LB, the opportunity to earn $100-200k on top of an existing contract and to start would be tempting enough to ask for a release. Whether or not Bellamy does that is another story. We're better off going for Galvin.
If DB is worth $1.3m Galvin will be worth more. He'll have Roosters, Eels, Dogs, Tigers and other clubs genuinely going for him. (Unlike DB who had one club)
There is no one going to pay 1.3 million for Galvin. Newcastle have paid Brown halfback money, which may turn out to be insane, but there is no one buying Galvin as a halfback. Also as exciting as Galvin is with the footy at times there are some glaring technical issues with his game both with the footy and in defence. Not saying he doesn't improve those but no team is paying upwards of a million for him
and Galvin managed by Isaac Moses, so rule out us & Roosters

Though i agree with what Brent Read said about options with the club similar to this with Isaac Moses. If Cleary is managed by Moses and wants to come to Parra do you say no?
Mitchell himself is managed by Isaac Moses. We still extended him. We managed to get a good deal done with Isaac Moses, go figure.
Good deal ? Blokes played less than 50% of games over the last 3 seasons and counting.
Us getting a good deals yet to be seen . Good player yeah , but good deal ? Something very suss about how simple this contract signing seemed considering .

Umm our Halfback is managed by Issac Moses. So I doubt that rules us out at all. Roosters yes.
"It's the weakness coming into the season and it's still the weakness now.
Nothing to see here.JR can't fix everything all at once though this is the next fix.
Ill say this anyone that is recruited now should have an urgent athleticism component to…"

It was a nice thought while it lasted.

The talk from the club was more so in the junior ranks as majority of them are managed by Moses, they wanted an even spread more so.
