should we keep Sandow after next year

Now I know we will go for DCE but seeing the form of Sandow this year and how infectious he and Hayne are for the others around them would it be better to keep Sandow on a pay cut (honestly who will buy him for 550k) or lose him and risk missing out on DCE?I think we should get a class centre and bulk our forwards and keep Chrissy.

  • I say yes but with a pay cut

    • You're joking I hope, halfbacks playing half as well as Sandow get what we are paying him. Need to re-sign him before other clubs bid up his price too much.

    • 550k will be a small figure by 2016 though. Most players will be on 300k plus.

DCE is looking at 1.3 million, Hayne will get about 1.2 million I reckon.

  • I believe Daniel Anderson has discovered that Shaun Johnson has a get out clause with the Warriors and has already started the plan to lure Kieran Foran. The plan could be to release Sandow 550k, Norman 450k, Moi Moi 400k, Lussick 400k and Mossop 450k.

They may offer the New Zealand halves 1.1million a season each to give us premiership spine of Johnson, Foran, Hayne and Peats, quite an astute buy and both halves are ineligible for Origin giving us stability through the Origin period.

    • If I could write my ultimate dream recruitment scenario Parody that would be it. If DA could pull that off he would deserve to be knighted. However, I'm not used to that level of goodness happening at Parramatta so hard to imagine us pulling something like that off.

    • If that's true I'd be stoked! We'd easily have the best halves in the NRL. Even better than when we had Paul Green and Adam Dykes :p
  • Shaun Johnson signed with Matthew Elliott as coach and was close mates with him, The Warriors are that disorganised, Johnson's manager has got them by the balls and won't stitch up the get out clause.

  • Norman is home sick..

  • No for me unless he take a decent pay cut, he has been good for us this year but i just can't see him being consistent enough to ever lead a team to a GF.

  • If he learns how to get us repeat sets and mount pressure on opposition try line YES, if he cant, then NO

"Blore is average. We are top heavy for forwards, very light on in the backs, now you want to get rid of two backs for an average forward. I'm glad Mon is part of the recruitment team, and not you."
