  A fit and firing Shannon Boyd , yeah okay.was playing for Australia a few years ago.at his best he's great but was overwieght and lazy for the Titans.Slightly better than Alvaro. Paulo and Boyd was a good rotation in 17 and 18 for Canberra.

  Absolutely No !

  As the game has quickened significantly through scrum, and drop out clocks, less penalties and reduced interchange, players like Boyd have become redundant.

    And Alvaro...the big slow props are a thing of the past. Mobile forwards are the way to go now.

      Alvaro should be known as the sloth. Runs like a mazda 2 on two cylinders

  A ouple of years ago he had a great season but the Titans paid well over for him for that one good season. We also have alot of good props now

  If a club like the Titans who, up to a point have problems attracting decent players, and they want to let Boyd go, I don't see the eels needing another reserve grade player that will slow the team down.
