Semi due back in court Monday

Semi Radradra due back in court on charges of domestic violencePaul Crawley, The Daily Telegraphan hour agoSEMI Radradra’s future in the NRL goes on the line on Monday with the Parramatta flyer due back in court on charges of domestic violence. The 24-year-old has pleaded not guilty to two counts of common assault and one count of causing actual bodily harm in relation to alleged incidents involving his estranged partner, Perina Ting.It follows allegations from Ting that she was the victim of three attacks in 2014 and 2015, including claims that she was assaulted when she was nine months pregnant.Off contract at the end of 2017, both Parramatta and Radradra have put future talks on hold until the matter is resolved.Semi Radradra arrives at Parramatta court. pic John GraingerRadradra was also recently denied the chance to represent Australia at the Four Nations tournament in the United Kingdom. While it is normal practice to allow players a presumption of innocence, NRL boss Todd Greenberg ruled Radradra was ineligible for Kangaroo selection.Greenberg said at the time: “We don’t want either him or the team to be distracted by this matter and have decided he will not be eligible for selection on this occasion.”Radradra will also miss a planned camp on the NSW Central Coast with his teammates this week as he attempts to clear his name.

  • lol Paul Crawley just went onto Here and repeated an old story. Easy money if you can get it.

Search NSW Court Lists | NSW Online Registry
  • In all seriousness i hope this particular matter works out ok for him if infact he hasn't done these things, it would be terrible to be accused of this stuff if it wasn't true, but if it turns out to be true and he's convicted, its a no brainer that he has played his last game for the club for a very long time probably forever.

I think we might have seen the last of Semi at Parra.

    • IMO sacking him is just the easy way out for the club and letting him be someone elses problem. These alleged incidents occured while at our club, but by sacking him, we aren't doing anything to make him a better person, it's just washing our hands and moving on. Some may say "but if we keep him we're condoning DV" - but if he goes to another club after serving his punishment and becoming better as a person, does that mean his next club does condone DV because they have picked him up? My point here is that every club will say they don't condone it, yet they will all try to sign him after he has done his punishment. In which case, keeping him and helping him as a person actually learn and improve would be just as viable, given that somewhere along the line this has happened while at our club. And no, I don't condone DV in any way shape or form for the person who asks, I just wonder whether discipline issues more broadly can be addressed in other ways rather than the "pass them on" method which is always the case in the NRL. The club who had the player loses out the most, as we saw with the Raiders (Carney, Dugan etc), and they don't change as a result. They just sack and play on. Semi will play NRL again, so it is a matter of whether the club is willing to rehab him, make him better and give him a second chance, just as we have with Auva'a? The club needs to take some responsibility IMO and if they really are so against DV, they should be the first to make sure he never does it again (if found guilty of course).
  • My people tell me, not guilty comin up, just good behaviour.
Then 3yr 1.5mil deal announced after

    Hope my people right!!
    • Evidence,
    • If he's "not guilty" of the charges that have been laid, there will be no good behaviour because a good behaviour bond is for those who either plead guilty or are found guilty.

Good behaviour would only be on the cards if he pleads guilty to a lesser charge.

    • If he is "not guilty" then why the fuck would he get a good behaviour bond???

  • Choctop whats Snakey done to upset you again hard man?

Auva will probably never go back to souths, if found guilty Semi may never play in eels colours again, doesn't sound too stupid to me, your post was certainly is.

Note i stated 'at parra', if he's found guilty theres a very good chance he will be sacked, he will go somewhere else after he serves his time and it might not be with us, thats not rocket science champ.

You are even slower than i give you credit for, in your obsession with me and my posts you don't even read them properly, that every time you come on here you obsess over my posts says it all haha

That you deleted your entire last account because of me is pure gold, that says it all too lol

You just love copping load after load in the face Horo....

    • We are the redemption club.
If any club would keep him, albeit with counselling etc, the eels would.
BTW maybe like many on here, Bricktop isn't 'obsessed' with you mate, he may just think that your comments are extremely flawed? Particularly so...
Biting hard at any negative comment aimed at ones self makes one an easy target, until there no doubt are the messages to mods until the person is banned?
Of course he had to delete his entire account and it's even more interesting that you know that?
      • Mate i havnt spoken to mods about anybody here for about a year, and i never request anybody to be banned, the last time i spoke to one was to request the permission to return fire with some fairly nasty stuff.

Coming on and only answering one persons posts every day in a childish and negative way is an obsession lol, you've had one for over 5 years Grunta, Horo for a few now.

Just explain to me how my comment is floored above?

You are one of the fools who bagged me for any Semi mail i bought to the site and claimed it was all made up bullshit, look at you and the other doubters flip now on semi when you finally find out what the blokes like, lol

And as far as biting goes i let more through to the keeper than anybody here, i just don't put up with nonsense from the fools....
