Segeyaro 1yr deal

Parramatta Eels are interested in signing James Segeyaro to a 1 year deal to be a backup for current hooker Reed Mahoney.

The high-flying Eels have made inquiries to sign the crafty James Segeyaro.
The sticking point is, Segeyaro, 29, remains in limbo awaiting answers from ASADA.
The livewire hooker is vehemently defending himself after testing positive to di-hydroxy LGD-4033, a substance banned by the NRL and the World Anti-Doping Authority (WADA).
He maintains the substance came from his housemate’s blender.
Continuing to train every day while sidelined, Segeyaro is viewed by the Eels as a valuable back-up to Reed Mahoney and someone who could prove dynamic under the new six-again rules.

  • It's our missing link. Someone to dart out of dummy half late in each half

  • Smart move plus will come cheap.

  • Who do you lose off the bench to fit him in? Stone is the obvious choice but I think he has a lot to offer the team and probably should be getting more minutes. Maybe seggy is just the backup in case reed gets injured.

    • Yep. Back up Only. Good thinking

    • Hell NO Milk - I am just starting to warm to Da Pebble - he is slowly turning into a Rock.

Also hasn't anyone noticed the disruption Seggy causes at clubs?

It's a NO from me and a NO from him.

  • Wont happen, drugs are bad mkay.

  • FMD.

  • Schneider would be ready soon - if he was getting match practice

Stone"s passing seemed good last time

just a bit cautious about Segeyaroo but he is a very good hooker

  • We do have a spot available, but he has to clear this issue with ASADA first before we even talk to him.

  • Why sign this idiot? It's been some time since he has played good and consistent footy. He's also a better dickhead than player.
