He is a defensive Centre who fed JAC well this year. He will never be world class but he is FG standard. Teams have won comps with defensive Centres in the past.

Yes, as our centres (both) are prob one of our weaker spots, but when you consider available players and the price differences, no.
Most people are spot on with his skill level, but the difference is in expectations.
It'd be great to have star players in every position but it just isn't realistic. To balance out the team and cap you either need be fortunate with juniors who over achieve or have cheaper players like Russell who you can rely on to just do their job. He's been feeding Addo Carr well.
