  • I do believe so. He would be able to organise the team around. If he is able to tell Gallen where to go I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to tell the Parra forwards where to go
  • You're keen on a guy who can't make the Cronulla first grade side??? I know Parra are hardly in a position to criticise the Sharks at the moment but damn, there has to be better options out there than a guy struggling to get a look in at the Sharks....
  • no, no, no. He is crap just like KK.
  • i dont think we need anymore young, inexperienced halves. Dont buy for the sake of buying. Look for experience.

if you cant find a experienced half buy in other areas and blood another young kid who isnt going to cost money and get locked into a

3 year 200,000 plus contract. If the young kid is no good flog him off at no cost to us.

Need experience alongside Morts if he is to play five eighth which i feel he should.
  • I would have him if good enough... but... is he good enough.... couldn;t hold his job at Cronulla and don't think he was injuerd although I could be wrong.
    • i dont think he is injured at the moment. he has been injured though. i think he spent a lot of last season on the sideline. well i dont know if they will let him go.

would they not slot porter into five eighth as barrett supposeably leaving/retiring at end of season. they will partner him with Timmy Smith.
  • No chance mate. And he is not that young if i'm not mistaken. The bloke cant get a shot at first grade behind tim smith and tim isn't exactly setting the world on fire. If we wanna poach someone i think the club should have a go at Jorrod Mullen if he's off contract soon. With a good pack and some class backs i think he would go really well for us.
  • What are people's opinion on Scott Dureau? I know he hasn't held down a first grade spot at the Knights but he is competing with Jarrod Mullen for the number seven jersey. I've seen a few games where he has been very impressive and in particular he does seem to have a decent kicking game.
    • Scott Dureau is solid. When Mullen was out injured, Dureau did a good job, he won them many games. Can kick field goals, defense is strong.
    • yeah he is pretty good. but ive found in some games he plays when the pressure is on he seems to go missing. makes wrong decisions. dont think the knights want anything to do with him anymore. He has been around for a few years which is a positive.

Damn shame we didnt pick up Luke Walsh when he was shown the door at Newy. One of the form halfbacks in the game and big reason Panthers are playing as well as they are. He shows great direction.
