Sandow the main man

In the tight game, having the little man kick all 3 goals gave us breathing space. his energy drives me nuts sometimes (reminds me of a kid whom has had too much blue food colouring), but that goal from the sideline to take us into the lead had me confident we would not relinquish it.

well done Mr Sandow

  • I thought he was great. MOM in my book. His defence has improved out of sight. Involved in every play. Great form.
  • Sandow imo creates more options than DCE ever could. I think on form Chrissy is the best halfback running around. A member of my family who is a good judge of players rates DCE highly. I fail to see it most of the time. The perfectly timed offloads Sandow gives Hayne are flawless as was Gower's pass to Hayne last night as well. They make it look easy.
  • Sandow is playing with far more confidence, and it's exactly what is required, I guess we all get caught up in the individual brilliance for Hayne to realise Sandows improvement lately!

Finally he is starting to earn his coin!
    • Sure has, his confidence has grown on the back of his improved defence.

  • I think what Sandow offers is unpredictablility. He keeps the opposition , his own players, commentators and probably his coach guessing.
He is probably having one of his best years and I think we need to resign him
  • My biggest concern regarding Sandow, early in the season, was his defence and goal kicking but he seems to have got on top of both of those problems.

    • Agree. He is playing very gutsy also.

  • Without Sandow imo we would be scrapping to stay out of the wooden spoon spot. His involvement has improved our whole team & contributed to Hayne's current blistering form.

  • When Chris is on his game, he can be one of the most enjoyable players to watch.

  • Sandow reminds me of a little aboriginal kid called Muggo who played with us in under 12's. Every week a few of us would jump in the coach's car and drive around town to try and find him. Sometimes we did, sometimes we didn't, but when Muggo played we won. I never saw a kid so small but with so much zip and guts.

"He was bad in defence and was not fully focused in attack sometimes. But he will get a lot of confidence from what worked for him. "

LB replied to Eli Stephens's discussion Why did fans want Ryles head after 1 game ?
"It is a mixture. But saying MON is the reason for Pezet is farcical. Ryles would have wanted it and MON got it done. That is practically MON's job. Same with GM's in other sports. Get an idea of what the coach wants, goes out and gets the best he…"

"Might be a with a new coach. If Brisbane miss the 8 or scrape in i reckon they yeet Madge. It would be ridiculous but can see it happening.
So could have a brand new coach there for him lol."
