The worrying thing is that people only leave the scene of car crashed for a few reasons.
1 if you are alcohol effected
2. If you are drug effected
3. if you have illegal substances/items on you that you need to get them away from the scene
4. if you are unlicensed or uninsured then you would claim somebody else was at the wheel
5. to claim your car was stolen/insurance job
6. You are wanted by the police
Obviously not all these applicable here,
IM certainly NOT claimng any of those things happened but thats what the club and police would be thinking.
Chris very well might have just panicked thinking his job was on the line and he didnt want to lose his job over being a silly bugger in a car, that could be very well what happened, but in the eyes of the police and club they thinking on of the above namely point number 1 is what they will be concerned over.
Very disappointing from Chris.

Indeed Snake, very disappointing. He has provided the club with a reason for him to never pull on the jersey again.
Never a dull moment following the B&G. I wonder how the club will react, a fine & public reprimand with the obligatory mea culpa or gonski. Its the last year of his contract & we lack a viable replacement, only Dud Kelly, so my guess is a fine with the "Very sorry, won't happen again" statement.
"Problem is while not changing the overall result in terms of win or lose, the terrible decisions often happen at crucial times, completely changing the momentum during that smaller period of the game. So often, just when a team is fighting their way…"
"I am a big advocate for Brian Smith to have some sort of role within the club, even around the GM role. I wouldn't give him the GM role but maybe an advisor role or something like that. Get a new GM and have Smith with him."

I strongly suspect they will go with a friend "borrowed" his car or something along that line.
Pretty easy to tell if he was driving though mate, he surely would have forgot to grab the two cushions he was sitting on.
He'll be dropped to Wenty
Very naughty snake, but very funny.
Looking at the location, should be plenty of cameras that will tell the story.
