Saturday night Sam Walker at just 18 years of age and in only his 2nd game of first grade found himself in a team that was struggling and behind the 8 ball yet he stood up and grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and won it for his team
Last night Mitchell Moses also found himself in a team that were struggling and behind the 8 ball only he had the advantage of playing against a 12 man team for 10 mins in the 2nd half with Parra dominating field position and what did Mitchell as the team halfback and chief playmaker do ? SFA . He looked clueless inside the opposition 20 like he always does and all he had to offer was his one trick pony move of putting up a bomb.
A 18 year old kid in only his 2nd game of first grade was able to get his team home and display vision , a cool head and brilliant ball playing and passing yet Moses at 26 failed , when the dragons were down to 12 and Parra had all that field position Moses as the team halfback and chief playmaker should of at the very least got Parra back in the hunt but he couldn't do it and this sums up Mitchell as a player and always will , a great halfback in that situation gets his team back in the game.
All Moses has is a kick and nothing more , he has no ball playing ability , his passing game is a joke and he can't break the line , Parramatta is the only team that if they are inside the opposition 20 and you took their halfback and Five eight out of the play that is would make very little difference because they offer nothing in attack .
Any who genuinely believes that Parra can win a comp with Moses as halfback needs shock therapy , Parra is basically paying Moses 800k to just kick a footy because he can't do anything else .
Parra as a club have put together a very decent team wirh some very good player and only God knows how much better this current team could be if it had a proper halfback .

Got to agree with you on this one fong. Moses just doesn't have the chief playmaking skills needed to get us over the line. Way to hot and cold for a halfback and goes missing when needed.
I wonder if the bunnies are interested in a swap deal for Reynolds? He would be a perfect fit for us and exactly what we need to organise the team.

It will never happen under BA because this would involve thinking outside the box and trying something different. I don't think I have ever seen a player dropped for a game under Brad let alone a player replaced.
BA dropped Michael Jennings.
BA dropped Jennings to reserve grade the week eels had a bye. He did well in reserve grade so BA brought Jennings back into the NRL side. So technically Jennings didn't miss a game.
Technically or not he was still dropped to reserve grade.

Massive problem we have is we have a 5/8 on either side of the pitch and no halfback to run the show.
Moses screwed down on that left edge is not being a halfback.
Nathan Brown has more touches at first receiver than Moses does.

2nd Moses is crap. If Moses had vision like Walker he would have seen Mikaele Ravalawa pushing up and a simple cut out pass or a kick behind the play would have led to a winning game.....,
Dont forget that Moses has been trained by Andrew Johns and Walker hasnt.
So that means Walker is more gifted
Don't you love it Frankie when Vertical Smile and his friends are your friend, they love you and want to share your thoughts.
Personally I would worry about someone like VS saddling up alongside me and agreeing on something/anything. Makes you question your judgement of the human race.
PS Sam Walker is looking OK Frankie but so was Flanagan at the same time last year. Moses was doing that cutout pass when he first came over, so it is not as if it isn't in his repertoir...... the big difference is he had centres and wingers that when they were set up they finished the job..... at the moment we have no centres or wingers that can deliver much at all. I wonder how Moses would go with the Morris boys, Manu, Toupou and Tedesco to run off his passes.....hmmm we have Opacic , Nuikre, Sivo and a very shaky Fergo....not quite the same is it?
You will note that we have plenty of people on this site saying we have to go through the middle, which is fine, we have a pack to do that...... but when the softening happens it is outwide that we fall down. Moses game was fine yesterday with the exception of the pass to Sivo.... you will note Alexander's comments on that. Dyllan Brown probably had his best attacking game for this season and unfortunately the lovely try he set up for Gutho went unrewarded.
