Do you think you have seen enough to declare Ryles is going to be s good coach?, it's a resounding yes from me. I declared early on that he will be the coach to end out premiership drought and that feeling has only been reinforced as the season has progressed. It's a bold statement but I'm sticking to it.

I wonder if ryles told the powers that be before he was hired the truth as he saw it about our roster and that he planned to tear it down and start again?
He wants to play a certain way I'm pretty sure that would have been the message and true to form he didn't muck around he ripped the bandage off and away he went.
The reason I bring this up is because before the hire our front office was saying we had a roster good enough to win the comp.
Yep. They're funny aren't they.
He wants to play with a smaller mobile pack and ball movement, the forwards he goes after are in that mould.
I'm happy with him. I wasn't sold on him when he was announced, but he's been solid and has addressed the obvious defensive issues that have plagued us for years, which was a main area for concern. I no longer get that dreaded feeling when the opposition swings the ball out wide.
I'm impressed with his decision to play Joash over DB this year. It's proved to be a great decision and I'm no longer too concerned about us not picking up a replacement 5/8. Does this mean we need a back-up fullback? Or does Joash play fullback if Iongi is injured with Hawkins the back up 5/8?
It's a yes from me, but early days yet. As mentioned in other comments, it all depends how he handles the pressure when it comes...and it will.
Definitely
If that game was last year, we would have been lapped. The players love him, and it shows on the field how far they will go for him.
He has achieved this by showing he will reward those that perform and hold those that don't accountable. He has earned respect by being strong and fair.
