Ryan Morgan is Crap

I think ive done this blog a few times but he is s###. Yes he is fast and elusive but he canot catch, he blew a number of tries because he cant pass. He hasnt no vision at all.At a first grade level you need to be better than that and he isnt up to that level.I would rather Falou be given a shot

  • Agree, he is a very good runner of the ball but has no other skills to go with it.
  • Morgan isn't the biggest problem. Did you see Toutai play????

He's the one who should be replaced.
  • Ur off ur head - 4 games this yr - 1st average 2 great and today's shocker
If we applied ur flawed logic jopaulo wtonga shouldn't even play the game at all given how many chances we give them - sit down and leave the footy analysis to the grown ups
    • Good on you mate, atleast tonga can catch a ball. The knights shouldn't of scored in the first half either if Morgan could of held the ball then to. In defence he got caught out a few times coming in to quick and leaving toutai in the open. Agree with Joseph he is a must go.
    • Agree Schueb. The bloke tried his heart out but had a bad game. It happens to them all. Put your torches and pitchforks away.

  • I have been bagged continuously by some members on the site for expressing my view for a long time now that Ryan Morgan is not a 1st grade player because he has no peripheral vision.

I was at the game and you see a lot more than you do on TV. He blew so many opportunities because he does not have the ability to look for support, pass or set up an unmarked man. This has been the same problem since he debuted. Not to mention when he had the ball on the 5th tackle and didn't even have the awareness to pass or at least attempt a kick.

Jarryd Hayne was blowing up deluxe in back play every time he bombed an opportunity and at one stage came over to the sideline in front of where I was siting and said to Morgan "What are doing?!!! pass the fucking ball!!!"

Arthur needs to pull the trigger now and make that call on Morgan and Paulo.

I will go as far to say even with all the mistakes the whole team made today if we had another centre playing today that could pass we win that game.

    • Morgan is elusive but predictable.

      Right foot step back inside.

His passing game is non existent.

Hoppa needs to come back ASAP.

  • I think we can clearly see the difference in a player like Ryan and Hoppa. Ryan has speed and a swerve but he is either: Dumb, can't pass, greedy, or has no peripheral vision. Hoppa may be a bit slow ATM, however he has silky hands and we would have had at least two extra tries today if Hoppa was playing.

    • Agree. I can't wait to have Morgan and Hoppa as our centres.
Tonga can finally go away and free up a ton of cash
  • Ryan has been 1 of our better attacking options both today & since playing top grade......its up to BA to address our lack of attacking punch....this is our real problem....
