Finally some good news!
After Sunday afternoon, I'm not going to lose much sleep over this. It definitely leaves a hole for us, but it's not a $1.2m/year for 10 years kinda hole.
That's a massive gamble for the Knights if true.
Actually a good thing if he leaves at this point, Ryles can use the cap space on players he wants in the squad and will help with the rebuild. Even with brown in the team right now it's spoon quality

That makes the most sense to me. He wants to be an eels but just wants a deal where it is fine for him to knock back that knights mega offer.
And why would Parramatta offer him a cent more than the overs he is os already on ? What has he done to warrant a cent more ?
This DB saga will either show the Parramatta club has learnt from their past fuck ups or they are still the same two bit club who overpay players .
