So upon reading different forums, and with Zero tackle reporting similar without any team names, Parramatta are chasing hard for Finau Latu.
Latu is a Lock forward for Parramatta and is considered one of the best middles coming through our game. He is off-contract for 2026 and numerous clubs are after him, with one poster mentioning Parra are front runners.
Now I will preface this by saying take it with grain of salt, I never really do these posts but there are some things that can support it.
If it is the case, this is a nice get for Parramatta. Getting a rising start who is 19 this year, playing consistent NSW cup now and Dragons are desperate to keep him. I am not sure how Dragons possibly let him go if he if they are serious about the future but then again Parramatta managed to in the past.
Question I have though is what will be the plan for him? We have a Lock in Hopgood who is apart of the leadership group. Do they move him to Prop and put Latu at Lock? Do they make Latu into a Prop himself? Or can Latu play edge?
Either way if true never a mistake to chase talent, hope this one gets over the line.

Would be good. Think this is the kid his cousin plays for us in SG ball team
Any relation to Will Latu? Lol
So yeah you are right, Dragons fans saying he has mates at Parramatta, grew up in Western Sydney. Mitchinberry Jets junior. Apparently we are the ones that are pushing hard to get him. Hope we don't lose Tuivaiti in the process, we can have both. Finau is a better overall talent but both would be amazing in our pack.
We should be looking down Tuivaiti now. Eels junior, coming into grade well, and clearly developing into NRL talent. He ticks the club's boxes in terms of developing young guys into first grade players.
Ideally we extend Tuivaiti right now. What's the hold-up? Who's Tuivaiti's manager; part of the Isaac Franchise? What do his parents want? I hope he's not like some juniors who use us as a shopfront stepping-stone. We're starting to but we need to get more serious about in-depth "character qualification" top-to-toe IMO.
Definately. If we lose Tuivaiti it is a failure for what Ryles is looking to build here. We can have both. If you get both then you are doing well.
Like you all I'm starting to get worried that we haven't signed Tuivati up for long haul. Each week he looks more and more confident in his role. Great talent! I'll bet his manager wants him to go to market actually. By Nov he will be up in price considerably I'd reckon
He and Ryley are the main two positives of the year and Ryley is on a meager development contract...what's with that?
For what's it worth a couple of weeks ago on one of the TCT podcasts Sixty said it is not too far from being done, the Tuivati deal. Make of that what you will.
If he said that, then consider the kid as good as signed for the Matildas.
🤣🤣🤣
