Brian Kelly is back for his first game since Round 1 as he takes over in the centres from Jordan Samrani (knee). The loss of J'maine Hopgood to a season-ending ACL injury sees Luca Moretti join the bench for his first NRL game of the year.

Nah Tallyn is closer to starting than he is to being dropped. Dont get me wrong Riley Smith is probably close to my favourite player. But being honest I think Tallyn might have a higher ceiling.
I think that would be part of the reason JR signed him. He changed our game last week when he came on, and showed something about what he is capable of. Until he can play big minutes however, I don't see him starting. He's best used against tiring defenders for the moment.
Joash gets the no.19 for the 4th week in a row. How much is this hindering his development? It's not right, he must feel like he's in limbo, can't be picked for Cup and can't crack the 1st grade 17. It would suck. I wouldn't blame him if he starts looking elsewhere for opportunities.
He played 7 in reserve grade last week against the dragons so he is getting some game time.
Papalii played 40min of cup last week before the nrl game
Ahh, I had assumed if picked for 1st grade, couldn't play Cup.
Even though he was not named, is it possible he could play for Cup this week if not used in 1st Grade?
You have to wonder what the plan is for Joash. I can't see him fitting in anywhere other than cover for halves and fullback. A great asset for the club, but how long will he be content with that?
I suspect Luca will start for Walker.
Its a sad day when Kelly is a option how he played that much grade as a known bad defensive centre is a mystery
Wish we'd look if versatile Marata Nuikore would want a release since there aren't any centres available anywhere seems ...a lot better defensively than lazy Kelma and would do a damn lot better defensively at centre than Kelly too!
besides that he'd walk straight in as lock...his great versatility is rare.
Hope Araz gets a look in to start over Kelly, he's a talent
