    • It is, but he needs to ease his way back in. He went for the miracle off load twice on Saturday and muffed it. Learn from Carty ( I can't believe I'm saying it) and get the rest of your game right before going the offload.

      • That second one was a set play, Penisini should have been there, he fcuked it up.

        • Ah ok. I did not know that - thanks.

    • Agreed! Both Ogden and Makatoa should be in there before Joe O, who has done absolutely nothing since joining the eels.

      • Ofahengaue is a great worker in the middle. Better than Makatoa and more effective too. Ogden can run the ball but doesn't work hard enough without it.

    • Glad super coach starting to see potential of Moretti like all us supporters have realised a while ago.

However he still continues to see something in Davey which none of us can see.

      • Davey is a great defender. High work rate plus he rarely misses. This is why we signed Davey and Ofahengaue, to improve our defence.

        • Davey is solid. He also would be not costing a lot more then min wage with the Dogs likely releasing and us front loading some of next year into this year's contract.

Joe O however wasn't needed. The question is what does he cost. My guess is around 300k. Suprised some rabbits think he costs 500k+  We where hardly desperate for him. Just a handy addition.

      •

I called him out to be in first grade after watching him in NSW CUP in rnd 2. Let's hope the brains trust have signed him and Grieg up. Much more potential than  A.Davey. would be quite dissapointing to lose either.

Bryce I can handle losing. Yes he has been good. But why not the effort when contract wasn't expiring. To me that's attitude. I'd be concerned if he gets a 3yr deal he may slip into his old lazy ways.

    • He was back last week and had a shocker.

Hopefully he is better for the run...

"Good blog, Super. Bert, very well said.
As long as the club stays internally aligned and is repairing relationships damaged by our dysfunctional past, I'll have hope in this new era.
