Ehhh how is this helping Talagi's development ffs

    • Eli Stephens > EA June 4, 2024 at 4:17pm

Any nrl level physicality and contact will help him, not sure when Gutho is going to hand over the fullback reigns so might as well play him in the centres.

I am happy for Blaize to attack at centre but yea he needs to defend on the wing.

What development do you want? Throw the damn kid in his favourite centre position and get some NRL experience. Sterling, Kenno & Price would be laughing at some of these kids 'cotton wool' development kids

Buddy if you want him to be your future fullback how the fuck do you expect him to learn his positional play and defensive part if he is not practicing at fullback. He has not even played juniors there so he needs practice since it's completely new to him

        • Mr 'BringBackFitzy' Analyst > EA June 4, 2024 at 4:47pm

Yea I don't think he'll be playing any fullback in the future unless there's injuries

Agreed. He'll need to wait a few more years yet to play fullback - better off getting some practice in the centres.

"I am not sure that he wont be in the 17, Ryles does like him, but again i would not be surprised if he is here in 2028 and sittting behind some juniors. I do wonder if the extension is only a year til 2028? If so then yeah makes sense having him at…"

LB replied to Roy tannous's discussion Eels in talks to resign Jack Williams Luca Moretti and Sam tuivati
"I agree as i felt Moretti, like Doorey, would be here for 2027 as that depth option with experience where if say Hopgood goes down for a week, you can bring either in no worries.
Ryles obviously loves him as Moretti was extended right after Ryles…"

LB replied to Roy tannous's discussion Eels in talks to resign Jack Williams Luca Moretti and Sam tuivati
"Sort of, but also i think it is fair to give him another season to see how his body holds up. Being that size and playing regular starting footy at Prop can do a lot to a 21 year old. One more season where he only gets 12-15 games, then yeah."

LB replied to Roy tannous's discussion Eels in talks to resign Jack Williams Luca Moretti and Sam tuivati
"Til 2030 at least. Him and Leniu are a nice counter balance in that Leniu is that high energy mad man, Tuivaiti is the bigger working middle who can pump out 50-55+mins and make over 30 tackles with 10+ more runs. I felt Tuivaiti was underwhelming…"
