"Rather Samrani! Does seem odd given the speculation of swapping him for old Barnett. Penisini can be really great at times and then really off at other times. Samrani has been very impressive and seems very strong and determined which is what Parra…"

"I really like Samrani but if JR decides to give him up for MB I think that is a massive mistake.
IMO Samrani should be 1st drop for either centre/ wing if one of our starters is out. Brian Kelly is bog average and not going to get better.

Lavaka is also MIA, sixties. Disappointed for the both of them to be honest as we know what Morgan and Faraimo bring to the table at this stage. Crooks on the bench is just odd but there is likely to be a reshuffle due to Pauli/Wicks remaining in contention for first grade and Fa'aoso likely to be pulled.
Josh Aloiai and Zach Dockar-Clay transform the NYC from strong to truly formidable so I can understand those movements.
You can also add Tui to that list.
And Eric Newbigging too. If my memory serves me right I don't think the Ron Massey Cup starts this week so they won't be playing footy of any quality this week, if at all.
Faraimo is deadset average and Morgan hasn't come on, i'd rather see Goodall and Lavaka being given first crack ahead of those two.
I don't think Aloiai is an issue in that regard, you could quite possibly throw him into first grade this week and he would simply go about doing his thing. Dockar-Clay stands to benefit a fair bit from playing at Wenty though, so while the NYC team gains plenty from his inclusion it will only help him so much.
Jackson Hastings is named in the NYC this week.
