Just shows how dumb Billy Smith is staying there.
Their backline is Teddy, Young, Manu, Suaali'i, Tupou. Then back-ups Murphy (who will replace Tupou) and now Jennings. Smith wont get a look in as a full-time starter until 2025 when Suaali'i goes to Rugby but even then they may sign a superstar Centre anyway.

He was sued for rape in which the judge found against him , I actually don't know how he's gotten a gig. Now whilst I'll question the legitimacy of being sued for rape when you were not criminally charged and it again points out how judges will find in favour of the woman in he said / she said cases on sexual assaults, how is a judge equipped to make these rulings ? They aren't trained investigators like a detective with the tools to read the body language signs to that extent , I do ask why an innocent man wouldn't request a police investigation into it when he stood to lose half a million bucks.
Different burdens of proof wiz. Civil is balance of probabilities, not beyond reasonable doubt. So if there's not enough evidence to proceed to criminal trial, there may still be for a civil finding. Rape cases aren't easy to prove and I can't imagine allegations of historical rape between former spouses would be easy to prove at all. She did have some evidence of behaviour from what I recall being reported. Judges are experts in weighing evidence and applying the law. You could make the same argument about lack of expertise in jury trials, but that's a design feature of the system.
