Roosters pull out of Galvin Race

Watching 100% footy now, they are saying that the Roosters will not be going after Lachlan Galvin because of Isaac Moses

  • It was never on the cards, I might be mistaken but I'm sure uncle Nick refuses to deal with Isaac Moses

    • They also said that the Tigers will offer Galvin a 5 year contract worth 1m a year. Personally I don't think he's worth that price and I don't think we should be chasing him

      • Agree definitely not at that amount

700 max imo, nothing wrong with  getting into a bidding war with the tigers and push up his price tag

        • you have been watching storage wars too much

          • Lol

Professional buyers go to auctions and explore storage units in search of lucrative and interesting items that could fetch them a big profit.- I've haven't come across this series until youve mentioned it

      • In a couple of years he will be the best player in the comp, I would definitely pay him $1m+ to secure his services.

        • This is it your not paying what he's worth now it's what the market says he's worth when his contracts up.I never understand this stuff what a fan thinks a players worth. It's really simple if you get a good half coming to market and you have multiple teams involved the price goes up.

7-800 k is stealing for a talent like Galvin if his manager couldn't get him a 5-8 deal worth a mill per season I'd be firing his arse.

I don't think he leaves the Tigers they've got a settled spine there now with a good mix of youth coming through and some potential elite talent there.

The Tigers are on the move up.

          • of course the market determines the worth of a player that goes without saying, the question is what is Galvin worth to the eels? imo his definitely not worth 1 million  for our club right now, Dylan Brown is 850k approx is he performing to that value? Absolutely not. " 7-800 k is stealing for a talent like Galvin"  is that a serious comment?  What justifies that kind of spend or outlay on a rookie? That's marquee money!! On par with Nathan Cleary!! Anyway, play on...

          • I have an officemate who has a friend that have coached Galvin & Blaise together. That coach was saying that Galvin is way much better than Blaise. Hoping we can get Galvin back.

            • TolElls, for one minute I thought you were going to shock us and say Blaize was better. Galvin is infinitely more talented with more footy nous and potential. Just my two cents.

I see Keon's price as irrelevant (within reason), because he is an absolute no brainer for the Eels.
