Sam Walker putting in up near tryline perfect for Tupou to compete and get a try. That's what we need to do. Lomax is busting his ass to chase kicks landing 10-20m out and defence wrap him up easy if he catches it or he taps it back and support isn't there.
Moses back should improve this aspect but this is 1 issue I have with Hawkins kicking game. We haven't seen Papalii kicking game yet but Ryles should be showing our kickers walkers kicks which are perfectly placed to compete.

That Hughes injury was nasty, least he won't be playing against us next week
Melbourne are working towards the finals and scored plenty of points while under strength tonight. Munster and Papenhuyzen out Hughes injured but Grant stood up. Next week Papi and Munster are back so it could get ugly even without Hughes

I've been blowing up about this lately. Put them in the ingoal if you have to, it risks a 7 tackle set but there's a pretty good chance he comes down with it if you give him the extra time

Moses back will help. Brown has been terrible with his cross field kicks this season. Papa seems to have a good short range kicking game but don't know about his bombs.
Those attacking kicks for edge players can only happen when you get into attacking positions. The Eels go forward needs to improve greatly before worrying about attacking cross field kicks.
I would like to see us put more kicks in for the fox. Getting a bit telegraph to Zac all the time. Fox is also an aerial threat.
